Itinerary

DAY 1: 6:00 AM - Departure from La Paz to base camp (3 hours drive). 10:00 AM - Arrival at Austria Peak base camp, equipment check and briefing. 12:00 PM - Lunch and acclimatization hike to intermediate camp. 3:00 PM - Installation at high camp and rest. 6:00 PM - Dinner and preparation for summit attempt. DAY 2: 1:00 AM - Early breakfast and final equipment preparation. 2:00 AM - Begin technical ascent with headlamps and full gear. 8:00 AM - Summit attempt on Austria Peak (5,700 m). 10:00 AM - Summit celebration and panoramic photography. 11:00 AM - Controlled descent to high camp. 2:00 PM - Return to base camp and equipment packing. 4:00 PM - Return journey to La Paz, arrival 7:00 PM.
